Rosebud Kitmaster / Hornby Motorised Beyer Garratt 2-6-6-2 Loco
This is a very unusual 'conversion' of a Kitmaster Garratt thet has been oltered to except two Hormby 2-6-2 loco chassis with the rear wheels removed . Both the Hornby chassis still have the x04 motors fitted so the loco when run is very power hungry and the fitting of more modern motors using less power may well be a goode option . The chassis are the later Hornby type with see through wheels . The valve gear is mainly nickle silver and the original Kitmaster cylinders and slide bars are used .The con rods are Hornby The buffers are sprung and tension lock couplings are fitted
Each power unit will run on its own but a plug in link wire is fitted which would then connect the two units together if required. Lead weights has been fitted to both the 'tanks' but not the central boiler .
The whole unit has been tested but due to the length struggled on 2nd radius curves . The kit has been nicely constructed with no numbers but fitted with BR logo's

;Now for the terms :- All items I list are to the best and most honest description I can give but a full refund will be given if buyer feels that it has been wrongly described and gives me reason that they think it was a miss description this would also include postage but item must arrive back to me in the same condition as it was sent. If an item is purchased and is not exactly what the purchaser required again a full refund will be given but the return postage would be at the purchasers own cost. All items are shipped at cost plus just a very small amount for packaging as I try where possible to recycle packaging but you cannot recycle packaging tape etc. I gladly except bids from overseas but any loss of parcels posted abroad will not be accepted by me unless buyer has paid a premium for insurance loss. All items will be packed to a high standard which will increase the weight of item, as much lightweight packaging will be used as possible but not to the extent of compromising the rigidity of the parcel and item/s enclosed.
