Hornby R2684 A4 Mallard Ltd Edition Gold Plated (Repaired See Description)
This loco hasd had quite extensive repairs (but no body damage) . The complete valve gear & con rods have been replaced with gold plated original spares .The front bogie is a replacerment but the wheels are not gold plated . The brake rodding on the loco is none original and is the type fitted to a Duchess but it still looks good . The rear motor mount again has been replaced with one of a Duchess . THe rear draw bar has been replaced but is still the type that transferes power from the tender wheels to the loco .The tender buffer beam is a replacement as are the rear buffers (none sprung) Finally the loco pony frame has been repaired and the cab 'doors' are missing.
Despite all the repairs the loco still looks very good and runs fine in both directions . It is in its original box and inner which has some scuffs and tape damage . The certificate of authentication is with it and this is no.1203

;Now for the terms :- All items I list are to the best and most honest description I can give but a full refund will be given if buyer feels that it has been wrongly described and gives me reason that they think it was a miss description this would also include postage but item must arrive back to me in the same condition as it was sent.
